Dear The Swarthy Bard , This was powerfully emotive poem that inspired empathy from this reader. I can connect to this sort of eulogy in "Invalid Item" having lost my mother, whom I was close to all my life. What I especially appreciate about the narrative tone is how it understands how others are being respectful of the son in mourning. It doesn't get overly dramatic, but somber. This was especially poignant. Your rhyme and flow helped lend to the read that had those short lines that added impact to the emotion of the poet's voice. It was a pleasure to read and lend feedback on this poem. Brian My review has been submitted for consideration in "Good Deeds Get CASH!" .
