Hi aundria

This poem makes a lasting impression. My review of it is for your WDC Account Anniversary. Congratulations! Have a lovely day.

Imagery-
The first thing that strikes me is the imagery that enriches the meaning and quality of the poem.
A short yet and striking verse.

"reluctant to die,
yet compelled."

This is exactly how those snatched away from life appear to me. Who would ever leave this beautiful world voluntarily?

Loss of a dear one is wonderfully imaged in the lines.
"I saw you grow wings
and fly to the moon"

Those who pass become angels to live in heaven leaving lasting memories and "trailing tears" with the mortals.

The picturesque view of the sea, the setting sun, sky, the waves, angels and moon end up in the sad realization that comes in the last two lines.

Thank you for a wonderful poem.

It flows well.

Write on!
