Letter from the editor

So, I started this before The StoryMistress posted her awesome email. She's 100% right, you know. Spring clean your port! You KNOW you want to or have been meaning to!!! I know I need to do that, can't find a blessed thing half the time! Time to read and review!- that that is a super plus!!!
Write!!! Now, not only is there time to write (and go through those notebooks full of ideas and odd lines) but there is time to revise or start a new project. Time to enter contests! Time to have fun here - and, as we are all going through a world-wide event we can draw closer than ever before! Share your experiences. Share your stories!

Now is a great time to finish that books you've been 'meaning to write.' Kindle books will be flying off Amazon's imaginary shelves!

Our grand and great-grandkids will be hearing about these days like I grew up hearing about the Great Depression. People got through that and we all will too.

Meals might become more creative. We might lose some weight. We might rediscover the board games of ur youth or games like charades. Family storytime could be a nightly thing as you wend your way through some children's classics that you've love forgotten and your kids may never have heard of!

Reorganize closets, switch rooms, give everyone a 'word of the day' and increase vocabulary! Teach the kids how to bake bread or make cake from scratch. Clear out the garden. Clean out the garage or the basement. Finally put all the Halloween/Christmas/Valentine's Day stuff away! Get the kids writing! Limit the videogame times! Reconnect with those you are 'stuck' with in fun new ways! Make this experience a positive!

And then, write about the new lessons learned, the new experiences and best yet, new perspectives! We've become a world of instant-gratification seekers - now a great time to slow down, and not miss all the little stuff that falls through the cracks every day!
