Signs from our departed loved-ones?

If we based about the Traditional aspect of each country, I think they are many signs that each one still believe, following and were used on to it.
Specially now, that the Halloween Season or National All Souls Day is coming in where some celebrate it and some believes it is the time to commemorate our relatives that were already passed away.

Though, in the Holy Scripture there is no such thing about celebrating the dead ones, because when one is already passed away, he/she just sleep and can't do and will not do anything already.
Sleep because there will be a time that the dead or the one who are Sleeping will resurrect.

According to my grand mother when she was still alive, when I asked her before why there's a day that we observe and celebrate our departed loved-ones in where we call it here as All Souls Day or "Naval" Undas" she then said that it is the stated time that the departed loved-one's spirit are hovering and will visiting their loved ones who are still living.
So that made me frightened before, and that is why my grandma used to prepare foods and offer for them..? *Think*

Here are some of the old beliefs too and signs that we may encounter and they said that our loved ones are present, according to what i've heard from my grandmother before.

*Ghost*1. Through Scent
A fragrant scent, specially if its the perfume of your departed loved-ones that he/she often use while he/she still living.

*Ghost* 2. Through Air/Goosebump
A sudden cold air, or breeze that makes you feel into goosebumps.

*Ghost* 3. Through a black butterfly
Do you see a black butterfly flying inside your house and stay in those personal belongings of your departed loved-ones? they believe that the black butterfly is your departed loved-one who is visiting you.

*Ghost* 4. Through an un-explainable sound
Do you hear a knock at your door, or you hear something that were dropped off?, they believed that your departed loved one is the one who dropped it to get your attention.

*Ghost* 5. Through the howling of dogs
You hear the howling of dogs in the night, they believe that they are crying, because they see that the departed loved ones is strolling and hovering and may like to visit homes.

Are these things are from our loved ones? or the enemy are just using them to steal and deceive us- to frighten us- so that we will offer foods for them like my grandma's routine in times of this season..don't forget that offering is a kind of worship and may weaken our faith.

Ecclesiastes 9:4-6

Anyone who is among the living has hope—even a live dog is better off than a dead lion!

For the living know that they will die,
but the dead know nothing;
they have no further reward,
and even their name is forgotten.

Their love, their hate
and their jealousy have long since vanished;
never again will they have a part
in anything that happens under the sun
.

I am not saying that I am against this kind of season, but sometimes a simple rot can rotten a whole, we can always commemorate our loved one's memories in the good ways not allowing the enemy to use us, his deceitfulness that may weaken others faith especially those one whose still not or on the process of maturing.

As I grow and trying to reach my maturity and still growing into Maturity, in where the Lord slowly open my blind eyes to See, that the dead will not be dead forever but have the possibility to be resurrected - Someday, it depends on the Faith in Him that we have while we are still living, cause when we are already dead we may not be able to do something, we may not be able to think even, so while we are still living we should grab that opportunity and try our best to reach and build for that Faith that brings us to be live forever. *Heart*
