About This Newsletter

There are many contests, challenges, and activities on WdC with new ones popping up all the time. This week I'd like to highlight one particular activity and a special member of our community. This activity will be completing its 5th year this month and every year the prizes get crazier and more exciting!!

Letter from the editor

If you haven't already guessed who and what I am referring to,
it's Schnujo is Late to Lannister and "The Contest Challenge" !!


Schnujo is Late to Lannister, a.k.a. Jody, started this activity on January 17th, 2017. It's a simple concept that promotes different contests from around WdC each month. Participants only need to enter one of the featured contests each month. That's all you have to do...but you have to do it every month for a year.

Easy peasy! You're going to be writing stuff anyway, right? Why not join the fun and earn some prizes along the way?! You can, and should, read all the details in the forum, but here are some of the JUICY details:

Here are the prizes for completing a full year of contests:

*Bulletb* The prize, after entering a contest 12 months in a row, will be 2 exclusive Merit Badges (CRs guaranteed).

*Bulletb* If a competitor chooses to enter all 3 contests offered in a month, they will get access to a special Trinket after doing so 3 different times. It is not necessary to enter all 3 contests for 3 consecutive months, any 3 times will do. This may be done a total of 4 times in a 12 month period for a total of 4 Trinkets.

*Bulletb* Throughout the year, there are special events and opportunities to earn additional prizes, too!

But that's not all... Jody allows catching up and she actually encourages it! Since it's the beginning of a new year, this is the perfect time to catch up on past years because the rewards are CRAZY!!!

I've completed all five years and have received countless merit badges, gift points galore, and other prizes. An added bonus is the personal satisfaction of having done it in the first place! *ThumbsUpL* Go on, go check it out!
