About This Newsletter

Hello everyone, I’m Samberine Everose and I'm here, one of the Guest Editors in the Spiritual Topic of the WDC Newsletter, and just like I've been saying I will not be tired in expressing my thankfulness to all the beautiful people here in this wonderful community of writers for not only helping us to improve our writings but giving us also encouragement and inspiration every day. *Smile*

We don't like to be broken and even experience it.
But, be encouraged!
Did you know that God is so close to the brokenhearted?

Letter from the editor

Are you broken?

I was thinking a while ago about why God often likes to use broken vessel to declare His Glory.

Then I saw a broken pot in my little garden,
my first reaction is I may throw them all in the garbage because they are broken,
but looking at them
my creativity sprang and I was moved to refurbish and restore them.

This made me realize that I as an evil human may have the passion to create something out of a trash for those things that I haven't created,
How much more to our Heavenly Father who is the source of everything and full of Love,
He can also give second chances to His creature.

This thought gives me an answer to my seeking mind.

My grace will be perfected in your brokenness.

Why does God always prefer to use broken vessel to show His Glory?

Characteristics of a broken vessel.

*Tackb* 1. Because of nothingness.
A broken vessel may never be proud of something because of brokenness,
Our brokenness will remind us of our nothingness.
Our nothingness can put off the pride which is a fleshy naturalism that springs in every human- it is one of the effects of sin.

*Tackb* 2. Because of their flaws/incompleteness.
If we are already complete we may not ask to be filled.
The void that gives us incompleteness stirs us to seek the things that will fill it,
sometimes we've been deceived by the enemy that we will find those voids that make us incomplete through worldly means,
We don't know that the only thing that can only fill that void in every human
will only come from our Maker- the one who created us.

*Tackb*3. Because through their flaws, God can bless others.
It's hard to understand but through our flaws, through the crack or brokenness that is in our-self, God can bless others.
We don't know the feeling of emptiness or brokenness if we don't first be broken.
We may not bring satisfaction to the needs of others if we don't feel like being in their own shoes.
Consider a broken vessel, it can't pour the water into another vessel if there are no cracks or holes that will be used to pass by the water that can be able to fill others.

*Tackb*4. Because of dependency on God.
A broken vessel may not already have confidence in themself or rely on their self but their dependency is on God.

*Tackb*5. Self-denying, lack of confidence in their own abilities.
When we deny our-self, the Christ's Confidence will spring up, that we only rely on God.
God often chooses men who lack confidence in their own abilities to do His work because He is made strong in their weaknesses.(Hebrew 11:32)

A perfect vessel needs to be broken so that it will deny the 'self,
because self-brokenness will only 'unlock the inner Self that God wants to be birthed in His Spirit that comes only through His Word.

It can bring out the strength, and our best that sometimes we don't know that we have but it only comes from God
and it will only unlock when we are broken.(Galatians 2:20)

Blessed are the poor in spirit,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
(Matthew 5:3)

So, if you are broken because of life's bewilderment- it is only for now,
be encouraged!,
the pain and brokenness that you've felt and feel right now will be passed.
God is preparing you, bringing something beautiful in you,
bringing out your best that you don't know that you have, and for you to receive His Healing. *Heart*
