Letter from the editor

I have been reading from a notebook I wrote in at the request of someone a few year ago. The things I wrote in there were about my everyday life, scribbled thoughts, ideas, and goals. 70 sheets of all kinds of things written with the idea that the one I love would read this and catch a glimpse of what is in my head. Reading the notebook took me back to that place in my heart when love made all things possible. The notebook is of mostly love, desire, hopes, and dreams.

Here is some of what I have written in that notebook, written for the one I loved and lost.

"I thought I knew what love was before I met you, but now I realize I did not I have never loved anyone as much as I love you, I could not ask for anyone better. My love for you is real, my body, heart, my very being aches for you. I wonder why I never found you before now, you are like a priceless treasure I never knew existed.

I cannot sum up how much you mean to me, you are more than the woman I love, you are my best friend, lover, and confidant. You understand me on a level even I do not fully understand yet. You are my inspiration, I love you for so many reasons, but one thing that really made me fall in love with you is how your wonderful mind thirsts for knowledge like someone desperately seeking air. You make me want to be a better man."

My question to all of you is, if you were asked to write in such a notebook would you be able to do it? I was able to, and I think it would be a good writing exercise by taking some time out of your day to write a letter to the one you love and give it to them.
