Does Loving Life Effect Your Love Life?

I've been thinking a lot about laughter and how the first guy I ever fell in love with still makes me laugh like no one else can. In fact, I think his humor is why I still love him. He's always been someone I shared private jokes with. He's not afraid to act like a fool with me, doing voices, making faces. I think he's the next Jim Carey, but that's beyond the point.

Of course, there were days when I didn't feel like laughing. Of course, there were rough patches and moments when I cried. But, the moments when I was laughing are some of my best memories. I was at my happiest during that time period.

All of this leads me to the question: Does loving life lead to a better love life? I think so. Aren't we all more capable of loving others when we're happy with ourselves? You've heard the saying "laughter is contagious." In my experience, laughter is even more contagious when you are both physically and emotionally close to someone. I'm an advocate for laughter in the bedroom, even.

At this point you might be thinking: So, you're saying that I should laugh when I'm being intimate with my partner? Isn't that kinda, uh. . . non-sexy?

That's exactly what I'm saying! And I don't think it's non-sexy at all. What could be more beautiful than making your partner smile or laugh? We already know that "laugher is the best medicine," so why don't we use it to our advantage in other areas as well? You might be surprised how a little humor can make your relationships more fun and interesting.
