Fairies and Elves
Fairies and Elves are usually thought of as showing up in spring. For the most part, the Northern Hemisphere is battling a winter of epic proportions. But we can always think happy thoughts by letting fairies and elves take us one step closer to spring and summer. Check out the fairy themed contests WdC members have thought up for all of us to enjoy. Besides writing about fairies, you can also brighten someone's day by sending out one of the many fairy themed c-notes. Simply type fairy into the search window at the top and choose c-notes as item type to find the large selection hosted by several members.
In Nordic culture, fairies and elves are also known as fertility gods. Let them take you by their delicate hands and give you their power to fuel your creativity for the whole year ahead of us. The long winter, work, life in general can always benefit from the color and positive energy fairies bring with them.
