Debuting for the first time, this newly founded group is out to spread a welcome to new members to the site.Their mission: to welcome and encourage newcomers to the site.Their veteran group members provide this through various services, namely: sending out welcoming C-notes, leaving encouraging Notebook Scribbles, offering assistance through our helpful forums, and reviewing first timers. Newcomers may participate through the forums as well, by either testing out their code, practicing their reviewing, or getting to know other regulars to the site.

   Ever wonder where to go to get the word out about your new activity? Lost or confused about the best way to draw attention to your interactive and forum? Let me introduce you to someone who can help...ME... Hello I am "Activities @ Writing.Com" , I am located on the left-hand side of the screen, under the "Things To Do" listing. Click on the "Things To Do" tab, look, there I am. The third one down the list, ACTIVITIES, see me. Click on that, and it will take you to my page.
At the top of my page, you will find some of my other relatives. They are used to promote various other items and/or to request reviews. I want to talk today about me, and how I can help you. I have a few rules when it comes to posting activities on my page:
Rules
 Post any item rated from E thru XGC.
Post only items with E rated intros.
All text entered for plugs must be E rated!
Please post each item only one time per page. Once it has been pushed off the bottom of the page, you are welcome to add it again.
Please limit your posts to 3 different items on the page at any one time.
If for some reason the rules above are not adhered to, there is a group, "The Cleaners" which monitors the page to help ensure the rules are followed.
Now why would you want to post on my page? I will tell you in one word, EXPOSURE! By listing your activity on my page, anyone who is looking for an activity to participate in can come and view a list of on-going events. By posting here, there is no unwanted spamming. Also, by keeping your on-going item currently up to date and posted here, if someone forgets the link, they can come here to quickly find it.
I do appreciate though, if when your activity is over, if it is still on the list, you come back and remove it from the page, by clicking the delete button next to your post. This helps to ensure that the activities page is kept in current standing. Nothing worse than seeing an activity listed which looks like fun, only to go find it, and it is closed. Bad business I say.
So remember, if there is an activity worth creating, it is worth posting here. Remember not to confuse me with my cousin,
"Writing Contests @ Writing.Com" , he advertises the various contests that are around this site. All other activities, come to me. I hope to see your posts and updates soon. |
