There is an endless number of things to do around this site! Many of us tend to loose hours just looking at things, reading, searching, clicking from one thing to the next. At times, you feel like you haven't done anything other than searching the site for something. What exactly is that something though? Are you looking for entertainment? Inspiration, perhaps? Or maybe both?
Holiday season around here is bursting with all sorts of activities! Don't miss out! It's easier said than done. If you love entering writing contests, your time may be limited, or you lack the inspiration to enter at all. One way or another, you'll see something eye catching and you'll click on it, read through it, decide to enter, or perhaps, put it off for later.
Then you see an activity you'd love to participate in but it may be time consuming. With a busy life, you'll participate in things over time - some you'll skip until the right opportunity presents itself, while with others you may just jump right in. When the time nears toward Hanukkah, Christmas and New Year's, it's party central around here. Be sure to join in the fun.
However, if you're planning on running an activity during those busy time, make sure to leave some room for your own entertainment. Preparations take time and if you're not entirely sure of it, ask for some input. There are plenty of those who are willing to lend a helping hand. Be original and unique. There's nothing better than to see an activity which contains a twist, even if it's something taken out of real life and created on a WdC page. Go for it! You may like it.
A lot of people prefer the kind of activity they're a bit familiar with. Raffles, for example, are a piece of cake. You buy tickets for others and yourself and someone will win. Change it up a bit, add your own twist to it and it may switch it from the same old to something others look forward to. Don't be afraid incorporate with a title which is familiar to many. There's nothing wrong with that. It'll be more memorable that way.
And if you do create something you'd like to share with us, please don't hesitate to let your editors know. We'd love to share it with the WdC world!
