2018 - What's your plan?

The holiday season is over for those that celebrate this time of year, and the new year is just days away. What are your plans for 2018? As usual, I have a few suggestions.

*Idea* Spruce up your past contest entries and send them out for publication.

*Idea* Look over last year's contests you hosted and review what worked, what did not and what you'd like to change for the next round. Now is the time to fiddle with your format, raise some gift points for prizes (check out "Good Deeds Get CASH!) and recruit some help if you felt overwhelmed last time.

*Idea* Think up something new to do. Whether it's a contest, an activity or fundraiser, think of some new ideas. While there are only so many formats for certain activities, the theme for them is unlimited. Look around and see what's been done and what ideas pop into your head.

*Idea* Think about what contests you'd like to enter in the new year. It's never too late to have a few plot ideas and interesting characters in your back pocket. Write it down. Especially if you're a last-minute-louie when it comes to entering. Check out the "Writing Contests @ Writing.Com and "Activities @ Writing.Com pages to see what is currently running on the site.

*Mugv* So while you are relaxing and enjoying the relative quietness of January, do a little planning and see what ideas you come up with.
