Letter from the editor

Out with the old and in with the new! Now, I'm not saying you should toss out all your old ideas out the window, and not because it's still early into the new year, all I'm saying is you should dare to try something new, something bold, something... That challenges others and yourself in more than just writing.

Running activities and contests can be quite challenging in itself, but when you come up with an idea that challenges not only those who participate but also you as the creator, now that can be fun. Exhausting at times but fun.

While we all enjoy the predictability in an activity and the challenge is writing, that can be more than enough for a person. Time and life, demands, etc. We all have only so much time to spare to participate in one thing or another. What if it goes both ways? What if you can come up with something that challenges your personal creativity while creating a challenge for those who participate?

You want others to look forward to your ideas, your creations and they'll always wonder what's the next crazy thing you might come up with. Sometimes they worry when you start talking of new ideas because they never know what to expect from you. Be that person! Be it in your own writing or creating for others. Make it fun and challenging for both sides. I hope you can pull it off. *Wink*

'Til next time!
