*Smile*

WDC is a large community with so much going on, it can seem overwhelming. Questions like how can I get my work read or where do I go come up quite often. We have a wonderful extensive resource in Writing.Com 101 at
www.writing.com/main/books/item_id/101-WritingCom-101
and the side bar tabs like Writing.com Tools, and Writing.Com Resources with a plethora of cool things to know!

It takes time to digest and play with it all and so my suggestion is to be bold and join in! *WDC*

*Smile* Chat with members!

*Crazy* Get on the newsfeed! Fan and Favourite people by clicking the little plus sign on the right top of their port. *Wink*

*Quill* Review others and perhaps receive a return review. I learned alot about reviewing by looking at the review page uder the Tab REVIEWERS. So many styles and good reads for ideas!

*Rabbit2* Jump into a contest..for fun! You may win or not but it is a way to get your Flair out there, just as reviewing is. Under The Community TAB is a brief list.

*Delight* Join a group and get to know a few folks at a time! When I joined up I flew by the seat of my pants, not knowing much about anything online. The first group I joined helped me with the basics and it was fun to get to know people and I reviewed up a storm! *Laugh*

We have blogging groups, review groups, newbie groups, genre based groups like Fantasy, and groups with common interests like novel writing or history. You can find a list on the Sidebar under BROWSE by TYPE: groups.
Scroll down and check them out. You do not need an invitation to join!*Delight* Each group has its own purpose and requirements. All are friendly and fun! If one appeals to you, contact the leader or a group member for a chat. I know in our group several guardians have the capacity to sign you up. I would also check it forum to see if it is active as some groups you see may be older and no longer in use. Things change as time goes on. *Smile*

Technically, just so you know....
