The Heart of a True Giver
Inspired from the Bible Verses of: 1 Corinthians 13 NIV

I often stumble this word Giver or in other words, the donor- sponsor or simply the source of a gift or the one who will be going to give a gift, wherein its best partner is the receiver. There is no giver if there is no one will receive the gift and we can't say there is no receiver if we don't have a true giver.

But a giver can't be a giver if he/she don't possess an attitude that will keep him/her to become a giver.

Being a true giver is a freewill act, it has a pure and a good intention.
In other words, the heart of a true Giver will be composed of love because he/she can't do the act of giving and the giving will be useless if he/she don't have love.

If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymba1~ Corinthian 13:1 (NIV)

I often like to prepare meals for my family, their breakfast, lunch, and dinner and try to make it good and be benefited to their health because I love them and want to see them healthy, they are my treasure, so I tried to do and make my effort best for them.

I will not do this if I don't love them, I will not spend and give my time preparing their needs if I don't give my love on them.

A true Giver will have a humble heart, it doesn't expect for anything in return, he/she is grateful to give because he/she likes it or say it's his/her naturalism. He/she will not boast whatever she/he gave. He/she would be satisfied and it will be enough for him/her if she/he will see the happy face of those ones she/he had given the gift.

A true Giver will have a heart that knows how to sacrifice because he/she mostly think the happiness and the needs of those ones he/she had given than his/her own selves. He/She is selfless and not self-centered.

A true Giver has a cheerful attitude in giving because this is a freewill act. He/she will always glad to give to share whatever his/her own.

Giving is the antidote for a sin called Greedy. Once we know how to give sincerely we will not already be in the possession of desiring excessively and we will be detached and be freed from those things that sometimes its reluctant for us to give or share.
Giving also boost our brain to produce a happy hormone called oxytocin or love, which give us the feeling to be happy, so if we are feeling low or depress try to give, that is why it was also said: "it's better to give than to receive." ~ Acts 20:35 (NIV)

I once don't know how to give properly, I give in conditionally that is where I've become attached to those things that I don't want to give, but The Lord God by His grace and mercy He taught me how to give and still teaching me how to give--

He is the True Giver of all. He bestowed and continue bestowing His love to us- unconditionally.
He poured His love to us so that we will not perish but have eternal life.
Everyone can receive His Great Love, even you are good or bad.

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. - John 3:16 (NIV)

Receive the Great Love of The True Giver.
It's the best gift that we already received this Christmas. *Heart*

Samberine Sig.
