The Memphis Belle

It took the museum 12 years, and 55,000 man hours to restore this aircraft! It is beautiful, but it makes me cry knowing the destruction it brought to the German and French landscapes. War is horrible, there's no other way to describe it. I often wonder what we'd do if there were no wars.... I don't think man's history or lifestyle will ever allow that to occur.
