These are my finished Flower Fairy dolls
I have been working on perfecting these dolls since I was five. The smaller ones are earlier versions of the characters in the pictures with more than one doll.
Lillac, Violet, and Iris ~ The smallest and most primitive doll is Lillac. She is the wise old woman of all the Flower Fairies. She is the oldest still existing doll I have. The Middle size doll is Violet she is a librarian. Iris is the biggest one and she is a farmer. This is the only case where the earlier dolls haven't been renamed.
Daisy and Daisy Jr. ~ Daisy is a dancer, she is also one of the leaders in the community. Daisy Jr. prefers skateboarding.
Poinsettia ~ Originally Poinsettia was an attempt at remaking Rose. But she didn't quite match up with earlier versions of Rose. So she got a new dress and a new name.
Autumn ~ Autumn is the Flower Fairy representation of Fall. She often works as the village archivist's assistant.
Rose ~ She is one of the leaders of the community many fairies come to her for advice.
Marigold ~ She is a perpetual student and this is the very first version of her.
Lilly ~ This is Lilly and her newborn sprout. Lilly is Daisy's sister.
Ivy and Leaf ~ Ivy is the mom, and Leaf is her daughter.
Blossom ~ The big one is Blossom, I haven't renamed the little one yet. I still haven't gotten a feel for what her place is in the Flower Fairy community is.
Clover ~ I haven't renamed the little one yet but Clover is the big one.
Snowpea ~ I originally named her Clover but I feel like Snowpea is a better name for her. She is just a general villager and she is wearing a placeholder dress as I haven't totally figured out her personality yet.
Tide ~ She was my first attempt at making Aurora. She is the first fairy with a fuller figure and I am not entirely satisfied with her as an experiment.
Aurora ~ Aurora is a Water Fairy. She is the community chef/ baker.
Aqua and Marina ~ Aqua's previous versions all had yellow hair. She is a daredevil and her favorite activities include parachuting, ballooning, and other dangerous activities. She is the leader of the Water Fairies. Marina is her little sister and is a fashionista.
Tulip and Bulb ~ Tulip is the second version of this doll. She is the assistant baker/ chef to the community and Aurora's life partner. Bulb is their daughter and she is wearing a placeholder dress as I haven't figured out her personality quite yet.
Luna ~ In her original version, Luna was cerulean blue with yellow hair and she was the leader of the Moon Fairies. This version of Luna is the leader of the Sky Fairies.
Sally, short for Salvia ~ Sally is a very new doll and this is the very first version of her.
Nate (carnation) ~ A new version of one of my oldest long-lost dolls.
Mary Jane and the munchies ~ From left to right, Mary Jane, Skittle, Starburst, Butterfingers
Mary Jane's face ~ This is the picture of my newest doll Mary Jane inspired by a certain, ahem, "weed."
Mary Jane ~ Mary Jane's full body portrait. She is actually holding up her skirt with her flexible grasping fingers.
