Why do Americans know so little about their neighbor to the north?
Poll Question:
Speaking with a lot of Americans on-line the past several years I have been surprised at how little they seem to know about Canada. It is not that the people I speak with are unintelligent, far from it. It just seems the American schools do not include Canadian history in their curriculum, while American history is required here in Canada.

Why do you suppose the American school curriculum concentrates more on European history than on the countries that share its borders? I would love to hear your thoughts.

Poll Options:
I never really thought about it
I don't believe that to be true
