Are pump prices manipulated?
Poll Question:
Not to be too conspiratorial, but have you ever noticed that as election season heats up gas prices tend to drift down? If it is simply a supply/demand commodity, and there are more gas-guzzling vehicles entering the world every day, why the regular drop in pump prices?

Are the prices we pay at the pump really set without any pressure by manipulation, political or otherwise?

      Yes, gas prices are directly controlled by OPEC manipulation
      Yes, gas prices are set by all petroleum companies engaging in a global conspiracy to control supply and demand
