Rules (which follow Japanese form):

— focus on the moment as observer
— no caps, periods, rhyme,
— present tense
— Kigo or seasonal word
— one main verb
— 8-17 syllables (not complete sentences)
— the 2 contrasting images that create an "aha" or puzzle for reader to discover what you know.

My offerings bend a couple of these rules, so be careful. Don't imitate me!
