My faith in God (still perfecting rhythm)
My faith is not the strongest
My hope may hold no power
But they remain consistant
Ever persistant, hour by hour

Sometimes my bonds may break
I have already fallen down
But on broken legs I'll stand
Forever plodding upon the ground

My hope is but an ember
Within an eternal fire
It may dwindle, but never die
Burning bright with desire

Small is the stain I leave
Upon the cloth of guilt
For I will smother all my foes
With the suffocation of God's quilt

For I still am upon the floor
And always shall I remain
For all my hope and all my faith
Are always the enemies bane
