A love poem about a man's adoration of a woman that has caught his imagination.
FAIR CAITLIN

Across the misty moor,
I saw a bonny maiden,
Her name is so sweet,
It is my fair Caitlin.

Caitlin MacKinnon,
It slips from my tongue,
Like the words,
Of a love song.

This lass is so special,
And dear to my heart,
I hope that our friendship,
Goes beyond just a start.

There is something about her,
That has caught my mind's eye,
I can't much explain it,
With words I am shy.

Fair Caitlin Fair Caitlin,
Grow in my heart,
And my hope is this one,
That we never shall part.

Let our love blossom,
Anticipation grows in our loins,
So that when we shall meet,
It will be sweet as we are joined.

Fair Caitlin Fair Caitlin,
I love you so dear,
Now as I write this,
My eyes form a tear.
