A missplaced spell makes a group of people from different races switch bodies. |
| [Introduction] This campfire is about a bunch of different beings from different races who switch bodies because of a missplaced spell. A fairy of 17 was practicing magic, and she thought it would be funny to make her parents switch bodies. However, she isn't quite in control of her magic yet, so tendrils of it burst into different places all around the world of Saelyn Dova, making random beings of all different races switch bodies. Nobody knows who has their body. Rules: 1. You can have as many characters as you want, but you must be able to handle them. 2. You can have you character already know the other character who has your character's body, or the two of you can be total strangers. 3. Just because someone has your character's body, does not mean you have to have that person's body. 4. Your body does not move from where you had it last. Your spirit moves; your body does not. 5. Try not to have everyone the same age. If you want someone around 16 - 25, then have another character (if you can manage it) that is considerably younger or older. 6. If you want to make up a new race, ask me first. If you want a race that's similar to another race but slightly different, you do not have to make up a whole other race. It's very simple: just have your parents be different races, or have them both be half a race and half another one, so you have for races to mix up, or whatever you like. If you want a race that's similar to another race but has a completely different society (i.e. men are slaves, women are slaves, etc.), then, yes, you can make a different race, but say what race they are derived from. 7. No killing or otherwise maiming other people's characters. If you do, I delete your invite and the addition that killed the other person's character without warning. Nobody should violate this rule. If you are, you're, frankly, not very bright or delibrately want to mess with my campfire. If I delete you and you still don't know what you did, I couldn't care less. Learn to read, then participate in a campfire. 8. That brings me to the next rule. Read the additions before yours and the bio blocks. I don't care if you think the bio blocks aren't important. This is my campfire, you will read them. If you don't read them, it is very possible for you to have almost the same personality or looks as someone else. That is not good. I will know if you don't not read something, or if you just skim it. Your addition will most likely not match the others. If it doesn't, I will delete your addition and you will get a warning. If you do it again, I will delete your invitation. 9. Don't have the same character or near the same character as someone else. If someone has black hair and brown eyes, don't give your character black hair and brown eyes. Many people like originality, and when someone else has the same eye and hair color, it makes you feel less important. If 3 or more people have the same hair or eye color, don't choose that eye color yourself. There are a lot of different races involved here. This means you can have whatever hair or eye color pleases you. If you want orange, blue, and pink striped hair - go ahead. Of course, this also means that if someone else has a completely original hair or eye color, don't copy it, because then I will know you copied it, and I hate when people do that. Also, don't have the same personality. First come first served. If someone says they're always calm, don't be always calm. You can be calm but also be angry secretly. 10. An interesting past is not always interesting. Don't go too much in depth about your past. Only say as much as is needed. And don't make your past as exciting as possible. You don't need to. If everybody has exciting or traumatic pasts, it becomes unrealistic. If nobody else has a strange past, you may have one too. If someone else does, explain the past to me first and I'll tell you if you can use it or if you need to tone it down. 11. Use proper grammar. I know I'm probably not using exact proper grammar in this introduction, but that's just what it is - an introduction. In the actual story, always reread and revise if needed. If you're going to join a story with other people, have consideration of them. This is their story too. If you write a bad addition, the story becomes that much worse. If you use bad grammar, I will ask you to revise it. If you try but can't, I will revise it for you one time and then suggest that you learn how to write. If you use horrible grammar again and again can't write, I will ask you to not add again until you know how to write. Knowing how to write is essential in a story. This seems obvious, but there are still many people who don't seem to get that concept. 12. If you can't think of anything to write for your addition, write a paragraph or a sentence. I don't care how long your addition is. It doesn't matter to me, as long as it progresses the story forward. And that doesn't mean it presents a twist in the story. Not every addition can or will present a twist. That gets tiresome. Simply saying your character woke up from the sleep s/he was previously in is progressing the story. 13. Interact with other people's character. Don't be off in your own little world with your characters for the whole story. It's annoying and boring. The first couple additions in your own world are fine. I will probably do that myself. It's useful to do that so you can get to know the other characters before writing for them. Don't make another person's character out of character when you write for them. That's another reason to read everyone's bio block. 14. Try to use a color when you add. It makes it look better, I think, and since this is my campfire whatever I think looks better happens. 15. Cussing is allowed. I don't care. Just not so much as to go over the 13+ mark. 16. Name: Ash'tehmil Ahclaz Nickname: Ash Gender: Female Age: 17 Race: Elf Physical Description: Long white hair with black streaks, dark violet eyes with white slashes across them when she gets angry, pale face, tall, skinny, exotic feautures that make up for her plain face. Personality: Ash is very active. She devotes much of her time to learning to fight with all kinds of weaponry, including no weapons but her own body, and has little time for much else. She has an intensive daily workout session besides the weapons practice. She eats healthy, but in plenty of quantities, she she knows she needs a lot to eat with all that she does. She's intense in her workouts and martial arts, even for being an elf. She's also very ambitious and intelligent. She leaves no time to do any leisurely activity but reading, and even then she only reads factual books. Ash can often be aloof and sarcastic. She doesn't have time for anybody; she doesn't want to have time for anybody. She will do anything to make sure she doesn't have any free time. Interests/Hobbies: Martial arts, school work, running...everything she can do but reading, writing, or drawing for fun. History: Her parents are normal and work as high school teachers. She has a younger brother named Roth'osi, or Roth. She doesn't spend much time at home with her parents or Roth (who is only 6), so she doesn't know any of them very well. Nothing exciting has ever happened to her; she hasn't let anything happen to her. Other: None *** Name: Senraltr Rokld Nickname: Sen Gender: Male Age: 48 Race: Dragon (A very tall race with large, leathery wings in their humanoid form. They can also turn into what people picture when they see dragons, but they prefer the humanoid form when they aren't fighting. Physical Description: His skin is dark green and leathery. He's short for his race at 9' 2". His eyes are an incredibly clear blue color and his hair is long, surprisingly soft, and the same clear blue of his eyes. His body is lithe, but considered very skinny for his race. His face is strong and masculine, looking stern even though he doesn't mean to. His wings are large, leathery, and brown. In dragon form, he's small and fast, with the same blue eyes, dark green skin, brown wings, and a patch of blue skin on the top of his head. Personality: He's serious and tends to keep to himself, but surprisingly soft-hearted and warm. He doesn't quite fit in with his race. He isn't really good at anything but drawing, and nobody in his race cares about that. He's forgetful and awkward, often embaressing himself and doing or saying the wrong thing. Interests/Hobbies: Drawing. History: His parents love him very much, although they don't quite belong with the rest of the race either. He has no siblings. He's mainly been ignored by the others in his race his whole life. The dragon race as a whole doesn't believe in bullying and have a strong honor system, but they make him an outcast without realising it. Other: None. *** Name: Sonaebella Rose Yrenda Nickname: Sonae Gender: Female Age: 19 Race: Water fairy Physical Description: The front of her hair is very pale pink, and the back of her hair is dark silver. Her eyes are pale pink. She has large features - large eyes, long black eyelashes, full red lips, and a round face. Her face is very pale with a faint hint of blue. She's very short, with a body that isn't quite the petite body of most fairies - she has large hips and her stomach isn't completely flat (although she is skinny; it's very hard for a fairy to gain much weight), making her somewhat self-concious around her peers. Her wings are petite and make her very fast at flying. They're normally bright red, but can change colors when she's feeling strong emotions. The only colors they have ever turned are green for extreme anger, black for extreme sadness, and once they turned a deep violet color, but she doesn't know what that color means. Personality: Sonea is usually calm and collected. She tends to insult others in a casual way. She doesn't like many people, and if she doesn't like a person, she doesn't pretend to be nice to them. In turn, but many people like her, but the few friends she has are fiercely protective of her. Interests/Hobbies: She loves reading and writing. History: Her mother got pregnant with Sonae at 13, young even for fairies, but she quickly married Sonae's father, so the scandal wasn't quite as big. Other than that, nothing interesting has ever happened in Sonae's life - and what happened to Sonae's mother wasn't really in her life. Other: Sonae is the cousin of the Crown Princess of the water fairies. *** Name: Liinlalis Tae Nickname: Link Gender: Male Age: 19 Race: Wind fairy Physical Description: Link has dark red hair, almost black. His eyes are dark gray. His face is very pale. His body is tall and lithe. His wings are thin and pale gray. Personality: Link is very charming, sweet, noble, and brave - everything a Prince of the Wind Fairies should be. However, sometimes he thinks he doesn't have any emotions. He only does what he was told he should do, without thought. He doesn't really do much because he wants to do it. Deep down he really is everything (and more) he puts on the surface, but he doesn't see that and suffers because he never really feels anything. The only person he has ever not been the perfect Prince with is Sonae, as she is the only one who hasn't accepted the personality he puts on front. Interests/Hobbies: He doesn't do much when he isn't doing princely duties or weapons practice, but he does enjoy reading whenever he gets the chance. History: His parents are Queen Faeliina and King Willai of the Wind Fairies. Link has no siblings, so he's the Crown Prince. Link has lived a calm life, as the Wind Fairies have no enemies, but they also are well-protected. The Wind Fairie's biggest allies are the Water Fairies. To keep the alliance, Link practically lives at the Water Fairies' castle. The Crown Princess there is only 13, so Link spends most of his time with her cousin, Sonae, who claims to hate him, but really he's her closest friend. Other: None |
| Name: Lavinia Nickname: Vinny Gender: Female Age: 30 Race: Angel Physical Description: Tall, 6'8", brown straight hair down to her shoulders, elegant features, light purple wings, each royal family member has golden tips around the edges of their wings, a very distinctive feature which makes them identifiable as royalty, Lavina looks extremely feminine. Queen of the Angelic realm, so wears a crown. Walks in a very dignified fashion at all times, is quite likely to be walking around with her nose in the air, something that her daughter Tanya has often been disciplined for telling her or mocking her about. Whenever her mother takes her out for a long walk she tends to fly, her mother doesn't appreciate that much and she is often disciplined for it. Personality: Very strict and determined with what she wants in her life and in her husband and daughter’s life. Has a mischievous side of her personality. She believes in pure blood angels being the only kind of people that are worth talking to and is very resistant towards any other ideas, she doesn't think twice before removing her daughter from such people that she believes are below their stature and disciplining her for running away. Most people believe her to be a cut above the average normalcy of discipline right to occasional abuse. But thanks to the queen’s mother that is a rarity. Very overprotective of those she loves, very much the woman in control of every situation. Interests/Hobbies: Lavinia, although being a grown up woman, still says that she has things to learn. She reads a lot of books on biology, agriculture, economics, and business, which she finds incredibly boring, but her mother insists that she does so and even reads to her every now and again. Being a royal family member there is no power which she does not have, so she needs to learn about each and every one of them. She finds some of this interesting. When she's not studying she's spending time with her daughter or fulfilling her royal duties. History: Raised by her mother to be a firm leader of the crown, she had a lot of pressure put onto her. Sword fighting, and learning, which she is still doing through all the literature she reads. Lavinia was overjoyed when she had her first child, believing herself to be barren, but found after she had her daughter she couldn't have any other children so her relationship with her daughter is one of very close nature. *** Name: Tanya Seurow Nickname: Tan Gender: Female Age: 15 Race: Angel Physical Description: Tall, 6’4", brown straight hair down to her shoulders, elegant features, dark blue wings with midnight blue wings, golden tips just like her mother and also looks extremely feminine. Just like her mother was at her age. Princess of the Angelic realm so wears a crown although not as elegant as her mothers - a bit more simple. Sometimes doesn’t wear her crown and gets into trouble for doing so as this is when she is intending on visiting the other realms such as the fae realm or the demonic realm. Is often getting into trouble by her mother for acting far too casual with the servants or with people not at her stature. In fact, were it not for her place of residence and her uncanny look alike to her mother and grandmother you wouldn’t believe that she was a princess. Personality: Acts in a way that her mother doesn’t like her acting. Is far too casual, more comfortable in jeans and a sweatshirt than she is wearing the beautiful clothes that her mother sets aside for her. Found playing in the dirt with the local children and walking outside of her own realm a lot. Is often in trouble with her mother. Loves having fun with her mother when her mother’s mischievous side comes out but hates when her grandmother finds out. Tanya believes the same as her grandmother, all people deserve respect no matter who they are or where they come from. The only thing she agrees with her mother about is that you have to watch out for demons, although she does have a few demon friends. Gets along really well with most people and finds it quite easy to make friends, even with people who really do not like her mother. She believes her mother is firm, but she always gets what she deserves. Tanya has a strict, maternal, and ability to fight side of her which comes through her blood from her mother and father so that she can lead people when she needs to but she prefers to stay about a step behind her mother knowing that there is safety there. Interests/Hobbies: Like her mother, she has to do a lot of study, but she hates it. She'd much rather be outside playing sport or having fun with her friends..or her new friends..okay, with people in general. | Name: Avalon Nickname: Ava Gender: Female Age: 7 Race: Half human/half pixie Physical Description: She very small with large silvery blue eyes. Her hair is dark pink and is most of the time in the style of pigtails. She hasn't quite gained her wings yet due to her being half human. Personality: Avalon has boundless energy and has a very contagious giggle, but in contrast she is very quiet and shy around people she consiters "bad" people. She has a strange tendancy to know whether a person is good or bad, by just looking at them. Around "good" people she never stops talking and can be somewhat mischievious! Interests/Hobbies: Avalon loves to swim. She especally loves swimming in waterfalls. She also loves playing tag with her friends and finding new ways to gain her wings. History: She was born into a human family that didn't really understand truely what she was. On the verge of being sent to an institution, Avalon ran away to live with her friend Tavia and her family, who ended up loving her very much. Name: Troy Nickname: "Trouble" Gender: Male Age: 14 Race: Sprite Physical Description: Has scruffy bright red hair, with a round face. His eyes are black/green striped (kinda like a cat). He's very short and has stubby arms and legs. Personality: Troy is very loud and obnoxious and loves playing tricks on his older sister Tavia. He's very sloppy and his appearance is very unkempt. On contrary, he is very smart when he applies himself. Interests/Hobbies: Playing tricks on Tavia, exploring, throwing stones at animals, and finding ways to be as annoying as possible. History: Born into a magical family and has not yet found out his purpose. Has a reason for being annoying, but thst will later be revealed. Name: Vantavia Nickname: Tavia, Tav Gender: Female Age: 20 Race: pixie Physical Description: Has long light brown hair and a very pale complexion. Her eyes are very light green, almost transparent. She is small sized, but is know for her beauty and elegence. Personality: People belive she doesn't have a mean bone in her body. She's known for being very sweet and fun loving. However, she is very naive and due to that she gets herself into dangerous situations. Interests/Hobbies: She loves to sing and dance. When theres a party, you can find Tavia on the dancefloor for sure. She is also very flirty and has made that quite a hobby of hers. History: Ralf was the only parent Tavia knew, but for a strange reason she knows very little of her past. All she remembers is her mothers voice singing to her when she was very young and nothing since then. |
