An Austrian's impression of modern American cemetaries.
For those who were brought up in rural areas, you're probably aware that most cemeteries have no roads or lanes through them. This is also true of most European cemeteries. My future son-in-law is a doctor from Austria. After visiting a modern American cemetery his only comment was..."Everything is fast this and that in America-fast food, fast loans, and fast cemeteries- you can drive right through, throw your flowers on the graves of your loved ones, say a quick prayer, and get the hell out of there."
