My self medication when depressions attack.
Whenever my heart broke, I whispered a silent prayer in my heart, to wash away those pain and bitterness that slowly spreading out in my entire being. Prayer is genuinely a sacred drug to fight back from the disease caused by the cruel world, it may heal the most malignant form of hate and it could destroy the most cancerous form of vengeance. I remember the first time I experienced the betrayal in my life and it came from the person whom I trusted so much. I want to shout a curse, but I prayed instead. I want to entertain the hate, but I prayed instead. I prayed OUR FATHER a hundred times. I prayed solemnly until the anger disappeared in my senses. I admit, it is a very difficult self motivation, suppressing the anger emotion and keep it to yourself, ‘till it subsides. Human entitles to have mistakes, but man can escape to that kind benefit of the world, if he is willing to believe in prayers, the power of prayer. Perhaps some might say, “Why should I suppress my true feeling? I can shout to the world and curse the people I hate. They deserved it anyway!” True, it was an initial reaction of a person possessed by too much pride. Never mind if he also deserved it. Nobody is perfect. You hurt, but you had caused pain to others. You stumble, but you pushed others and made them fell. Such a true dances of life in order to gain humility and forgiveness. It takes two to tango, and it takes a hundred of Our Father to heal a broken heart. If you feel hate and pain in your heart, recites the prayer and it will carry out the burden, keep going just pray, feel the hands of God from your heart. He dries your tears, He will put you on his lap, sings you a heavenly lullaby, and He gazes in your eyes to clear your mind and from the hundred of OUR FATHER He makes your heart pure again.
