A personal piece, pain, suffering, hope and faith.
Seemingly frozen.
So slowly do the hands turn,
When I’m looking into your glassy, empty stare.

A broken figure,
Those screams that cut into the darkness of night
Any words were spoken to deaf ears
Comfort was a dream.

A child’s innocence in a tear that screams why,
As the angel sits at the top of the tree
Stop mocking! Spread your wings,
Help us fly away from this nightmare.

My tears will say more then words can speak,
Not wished upon even the most hated of enemies
Pain teaches a priceless lesson
That nobody is immune to suffering.

Then there was light, in a simple embrace.
To see her behind closed doors
And long for this moment to pass
One wish; for this stranger to be known again.

And I’ll come back tomorrow.
And the day after that.
Waiting until the disease releases its grips on your troubled mind,
And longing for you to return, after you win your battle

I bow my head, because you are my prayer.
