The birth of imagination
Little Firefly


O, little firefly
Putting fire in my eye
Opening my heart to see
A whole new world of make-believe

O, rainbow ‘round the bend
The gift of wonder that you send
The brightest colors you conceive
Fill my world with fantasy

O, sunset and sunrise
You paint the clouds across the sky
You stir my heart and fuel my mind
Don’t ever leave me far behind

O, little firefly
Putting fire in my eye
Showing me what life’s about
Never put the fire out
