Just a poem about how something simple can brighten your day.
Just a look or a smile
And my heart takes wing.
And I’m free for a while
It seems like such a little thing.
It doesn’t take much
When you’re around
To untie this tether
That holds me down.
To free me.
It feels like hope to me.
