Questioning and doubting the one I love.
Maybe it is a coincidence that you are not here,

Your words only highlight my fear.

I scratch deep and find what I need,

As I pose more questions, it makes my heart bleed.

My suspicious mind questioning the word 'friend',

Not to know maybe a blessing in the end.

My friends say it’s nothing just to be kind,

Maybe they agree and know what I'll find.

To think you know someone and then have doubt inside,

I hate my uneasy feeling of wanting to hide.

I've put the pieces together with one way out,

I can't go on living with my heart in doubt.

I'll keep tuned in and believe it’s nothing at all,

Just know if you trip up I'll be gone when you fall.
