How much can a heart stretch before it says enough?
They say true friends are forever
Then why must our friendship sever
Were the fun times we had not true?
Our bond you begin to undo

No longer can spare a smile
Or stop to chat once in awhile
My love for you continues on
Although yours for me seems forgone

How many more nights shall I cry
Before I finally say goodbye
I do not want us to depart
Never again complete, my heart
