Soaking showers swell the ground
Plants are blossoming all around
Rain clouds float in the gentle breeze
It's time to awake the birds and bees
Now they have to do their part
Green foliage and flowers are a fresh new start
To harvest the plenty and pollinate
In order for life to propagate
Many months ahead of toiling for hours
Each cycle beginning with the next wave of showers
