For Stormy-- using words "gown, change, soaking"
He waited for you
at the bar,
soaking with shadows
and wishing for a change.

Yet, the brusque rustle
of your gown
reminded him of
wild, hurtful things
and you watched him
run away
in tears of blood.

It isn't your fault,
you must understand;
he was sad before,
locked up
in his poetry.
