Crime scene?
I see you staring at me
Not in the way of eyes
I see you seeing me
But I am a chalk outline
You won't find any beauty here

You smell the damp earth
Regretting the blood you spilled
And I can smell the rot you smell
This chalk outline of me
You can't smell ME though

I feel you touching me
Much the same as a lover
You trace my rough edges
I'm still a chalk outline
You won't find any pleasure here

You lick your fingers
Washing away your sin
And I remember tasting you
But I'm a chalk outline
Forever denied more life

I hear you hearing me
More a wistful reality passing
You listen for my voice
But I'm just a silent chalk outline
I'll lie here until it rains

Author's Note: I truthfully don't remember writing this. I opened my notebook one day and found it. It's interesting, at least.
