Wolf Dreams


I hear cries of the wolf
reverberating
through my dreams,
calling me to civilization’s rim,
summoning me
to an old growth forest
where the pack roams free
and I am transformed.

I am the she wolf.
I am the alpha female.
I am Wolf Singer,
howling at the pregnant moon.
