Feeling that you can't find what it is your here for.
A tree blows helplessly in life's breeze.

Slowly, alone, it marvels at the grass.

Wondering how, he too could spread across the globe.

But alas, his life as a willow tree will not last.

He stays atop his hill, pondering about life outside his roots.

Wondering when he will die.

Never being able to understand the world.

Never being able to truly live.

His bitter end has come,

He thinks now about all the times he had.

But forgetting the ones he never made.

Regret is but a shadow lodged in his roots.
