A humorous ditty about my daddy, and his phobia that became mine.
"Phobia"

He saw a mouse! In the house!
Yikes! Ouch! Is it in the couch?
Now he's holler'n and scream'n.

What was that? That was what?
No, it's there! Over where?
Did you hear that? I heard a rat.

Still scrambl'n and stumbl'n,
frightened and fight'n, he's try'n
to find a higher place climb'n.

I yelled, it ran into that room!
Get a broom.
Chase it out with a broom.

What did you say?
Oh no, not me, said he.
Ahh, he sighed. It got away.

Don'tya know? A reluctant hero,
was he, there for me.
Yep.That was my daddy.
