Parody. not to be taken seriously. self deprecating and cynical.
Strange little girls in black PVC dresses
Hug men who wear the same skirts proudly.
Appearance bleak, we hope it distresses;
But the children we pass still laugh loudly.

Vampiric boys stalk girls with fangs,
Fake fangs that suck hard drinks through straws.
At home, above their coffins, nooses hang;
Near masses of make-up for massive pores.

They slouch in stereo, because they lack spines.
Dancing bisexuals kiss, hoping the other sex sees.
Sitting they disagree about bands being genuine
while flaunting accessories that every goth “needs”.

Cyber goths don opaque goggles, very useful you see.
Especially when “dancing” (much like standing;
Moving at funereal pace was too demanding,
This improvisation they owe to ecstasy.)

Led past cigarettes and sinister stares
You leave with a new partner but no condom.
Just like every gothic couple no 9 month fears,
And so positive you wont be alive that long!

*i need to rearrange the 4th paragraph yes. any suggestions?
also, if you notice the pronoun in the third line, it has two characters... guess who? tis but a parody. Dont get offened if you think im ganging up on some subculture, or if you are in this poem.
"goths, if we want to laugh, we dont have to go far. we're always beside ourselves", you can quote me on that :).
