Childhood memory of a friend who asked me to write a poem on it.
Splashing sounds reach my ears,
Heart thudding, I feel little tears,
Tears jumping from a distilled pool,
I nearly fall over, just like The Fool,
My guardian saves me from falling,
The waterfall reaches me, calling,
Sweet waterfall, enchanted you are,
I'm fascinated by your calming power,
I feel the presence of a wise spirit unknown,
Time goes by and my curiosity has grown,
I trip and I'm greeted by an arrow-head,
For I lie on the land of Native Indians, the spirit said.
