Take Heart

You say life stinks.
Take heart my friend,
Life only winks,
As it nears the end.

You say love lacks.
Take heart, my friend.
From life it backs,
Its heart to mend.

You say you can’t.
Take heart my friend.
Your strength you grant,
So I can fend.
