Something I wrote in someone elses Eng. Lit. Class
A glimmer of hope upon my face
A shimmering veil of crystal lace
The fleeting snow has come again

Children playing on roads of ice
Mothers cooking in kitchens of spice
And fathers reading the daily news

Children dreaming of their day off from school
Teachers using it as a learning tool
And thus spins the world

From the snow a poem will hatch
The snow's become the poet's greatest catch
And brother wants to build a snowfort

The floodgates of heaven close
Watch in horror the crystal rose
As my dreams melt away
