This is Islam,
it is you and I.
The birds, the grass,
the flower, the sky.

The individual,
the couple too.
Islam isn't just
me and you.

Christian, pagan
catholic and more.
Islam is all
it is not a bore.

I wouldn't know Islam
if seen in a mirror.
I don't see religion
it's not in me I fear.

I see the individual,
just you and me.
Trying to live here
peacefully.

So if looking for Islam,
it is all around.
It is in every religion
to be found.

It is part of you
and part of me,
co-existing
individually.
