Thoughts between gasps for fresh inspiration. . .

The chill of the season hangs in the air this evening as the cats' kittens (yes, I do mean the kittens of two cats) run in and out of the patio door, chasing bugs and other delights.

It seems that I prefer the mundane these days. Reading textbook history does hold a place in one's life, but it takes discipline to tackle mass pages of text. It seems that I'm doing more researching than composing these days.

It's difficult for me to find the spark for genuine creativity sometimes...as I beg, bribe, and befuddle my poor muse.

Until some moment of brilliant insight occurs, I'll continue to do what I can, the best I can
