The day I got over my ex-fiancee' and got on with my life
Memorial Wastelands
(Original)

Electric blue lights pad the horizon
Apex of this path
And blessed is he who hath
Free voicemail and text on Verizon
Annoying drops of rain slap my arm
And games out on the lake
Into the car
About time to watch Kournikova
And those two Williams' sisters

From such we've come far
So here's to us dear brother
For driving on this parkway the others
Declined to follow
The Dodgers sucked and I'll shave tomorrow
No lawyer or judges of one another

Eclectic hue excites our inner child
I draw false hope from it
Careening through twilight to our next wait
Seen too early and known too late

Salute', my older brother
