Poem of everlasting life. That in the end all our love survives death
Love, In Truth, Remains
By
Richard Vance

Finally leaving all behind,
Our consciousness remains, we find,
After another mortal trip complete
Still me, but free to simply be,
To wander here and wander there,
To see and feel and touch
And live at once outside the dream,
And even know for sure that
Each and every memory's here,
Though some are gently faded gray
From years of being hidden deep below,
Each and every one I clearly see,
Some neatly stacked in rows
But still others strewn about in random rooms,
Provide for me, a panoramic view
Of all the sights and sounds gone by
And find, of all the things we lose,
All our love, in truth, remains.
