Written in memory of the fires that ravage our souls on a daily basis.
A fire is burning.
Can’t you see it?
There in the distance,
Way over there,
The fire is spreading,
Don’t you fear it?
Running wild providing death’s embrace.
Wild, destructive, ravaging across the land.
A fire is burning,
Can’t you feel it.
Clawing at your leg,
Spreading to your soul.
Taking over controlling you.
It ravages your soul destroying you.
A fire is burning,
Why aren’t you running?
It’s eating you alive!
Run you fool!
You’re burning alive,
Escape before you die!
Standing calm dead by your body,
Stranded forever in a sea of dead bodies.
