Life is cyclical. This is my son coming to see me. I did the same thing when I was young.
I jump on a greyhound
Braving the crowds and cold.
Gonna see my Mom now
So I do what I'm told.

The bus is loud and smells.
All sorts heading up north.
I wish I had a car,
A Chevy, Ford or Porshe.

Three hours more of this hell
Is it even worth it?
To see my crazy Mom,
It’s way too long to sit.

Every other weekend kid
She moves from town to town.
Going from place to place
I follow her around.

She wanted to move there
So far away from me
Someone ask the question,
“What would make me happy?”

She should come here instead.
It’s the least she could do.
Should I sit on a bus
After the hell I've been through?

I still hate that they split.
No one checked with me first.
They should be together,
It couldn’t be much worse.

Instead here I'm again
On an old Greyhound see.
I love my crazy Mom.
She's still my Mom to me.
