A poem in iambic pentameter about envy and anger
I see her beauty and her lazy grace,
Yet wish to rip perfection from her face.
Her lovely hands have torn apart my soul,
And left upon my chest a gaping hole.
A hatred so intense does fuel the rage,
So long been kept inside it’s iron cage.
For every time I reach I am denied
And kept to feed her avaricious pride.
My mind ignites with savage, vicious zeal,
To burn into her soul the pain I feel.
With fury pulsing from my heart of fire,
Righteous revenge is all that I desire.
It starts with envy, yet the feeling turns
To fiercest rage, and then the hatred burns.
