There is a special someone who shatters the predictability of my life
I speak of predictable patterns and think in coherent fragments that scatter under the midnight lights. But my dreams come in waves and particles which follow an uncertainty principle of abstraction.

I latch to the solid predictability but, with a free hand waving, grasp at the random. The random smiles, the offhand wit - you reveal these welcome and unexpected treasures to the surface of a consuming sea.

treaures that pale
behind structured screens
shimmer a deeper light
when you hold my hand
