A philisophical poem I wrote about life & living it.
There's a Reason 3/4/2007

I don't know what tomorrow will bring
It could be almost anything
Could be good news but may be bad
Could make you happy or maybe sad

If we could predict what tomorrow will say
you could plan out your life day by day
Missing all the pitfalls in front of you
picking out the things that look fun to do

But if your whole life was all laid out
it would give you nothing to think about
Living out your days in predictable style
would it then really be worthwhile

No, things must be just as they are
some too close and some too far
All things happen for a reason
no fruit is picked out of season

Though you may not see it all the time
all things do have reason and rhyme
Just try to do the best you can
with your small role in a master plan

So try your best along the road
and maybe lighten another's load
For all the good things that you do
will multiply and come back to you
