Life & the pain until the age of 30. But there was a long way to go. A long way to grow.
Change the child in me.

Five and fatherless
Oh my how life was bliss.

Six without a doubt
brought change and life without.

Without the change
of summers warmth.
Dad was home
my life was torn.

Seven through twelve
brought change of scenery
being locked in your room
isn't so bad you see...

The teens brought trouble along for the ride.
The change of torment struggling inside.

Seventeen, eighteen
and who could miss
the songs of love
and it's first kiss.

Nineteen with child
and changing in size.
Only now, there was no changing of mind.
My life was set,
my path been made.

Ten years since
the shade of love.
Change being
has brought me
reflections of the child in me.
